10-band equalizer, Discord Rich Presence, MPRIS media keys, volume normalization, in-app updates (self-updating AppImage).

Install

  1. Download and extract the .tar.gz.
  2. Add it to your application menu: cd Reprise && ./install.sh (installs under ~/.local, no root). Then launch Reprise from your menu.
  3. Prefer portable? Just chmod +x Reprise-x86_64.AppImage && ./Reprise-x86_64.AppImage.
  4. Remove later with ./install.sh --uninstall; system-wide with sudo ./install.sh --system.

Optional external tools

  • Playback works out of the box — MP3, FLAC, OGG and WAV decode natively. Install mpv or ffmpeg only for other formats or an alternate backend.
  • Downloader needs yt-dlp; ffmpeg is used for audio extraction and loudness analysis.

  • GPU: OpenGL 2.1+ / Metal
  • Storage: ~60 MB for the app, plus your library
